Words from the artist: Recently, I have been interested in finding ways to relax. Before, I thought that there was no point in spending time doing nothing. However, at some point, I realized that we have lost time to relax and that it is important to maintain a balance between work and rest. We must ensure that we take adequate rest in a safe and comfortable state. If we break down the Chinese characters for “rest” (休息), “休” represents a person leaning against a tree and “息” represents a reflection on one’s mind. My recent works aim to show different ways to find relaxation. I hope we all take care of our mind, which is invisible like silent letters that exist without being spoken...
